Bought a Shift 3.0 when they first dropped and I am in love. This is the first OTF I’ve been able to reliably actuate with my weak arthritic thumbs. Handle is wonderfully comfortable; carry is easy; the wharnie blade is pretty good for EDC tasks; S35VN is well heat treated (ran it through a couple hundred feet of double walled cardboard). I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Im quite impressed. Amazing tolerances, the color is breathtaking, the action is crispy and feels awesome. The blade is wicked sharp, as well as beautiful. I love the steel type and logo on the back edge of the blade. The knife itself is very light but feels very strong. Wow.... just wow lol
I loved my purple one so much that I jumped on a red/black when it became available! I can't get enough of these and I'm super excited for to see what the future holds with them! Support small knife companies before grabbing a corporate giant knife!!
Thanks for picking up another one! We take tremendous pride in the knives that we manufacture and we've been blown away by the support we've received.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything!
I just received my Purple/Stonewash Magnacut Wharncliff and I'm blown away by every aspect. The body is amazing. The blade is amazing. The action is amazing. You guys are truly knife guys making knives. I am so very proud to own this!
I have a Micro**** and I got this on a whim after reading about how it compares. Well…I’m here to tell ya, it doesn’t, it is better in a few ways:
*more of an elegant quality, design and feel
* ergonomics are superior
*pocket clip is not this huge wonky thing
*badging is subtle and just enough instead of the over badging”HELL YA” look of the others.
Others reactions when I pull this out is “WOW that is very nice!” Instead of “WHOA, what the hell?!?) my knife friends tell me that the shift is classy, I have to agree. It is more like secret agent vs biker mercenary.
I will buy another for sure…when it come out. This time a clip point in tan or blue.
